My sweet and sour chicken and pork 10/10
My tomato, carrot, fishball Udon soup 6/10
==> My 17 weeks pregnant face.- Suddenly I seem to have a feeling that I am waking up... Waking up from my idleness. I guess this should be the peak of my trimester 2. I am less idle now. I seemed to be blinded by my own pregnancy.
I finally made the trip down to Heartland Mall , Perfect Mum to shop for maternity clothes. I have been pushing back to shop for more clothes for the last few weekends. Simply have no energy and mood at all. The salesgirl commented why I never put my make up and lipstick. While I was in the fitting room, I realised how "auntie" and lazy I looked like. My flabby legs (those crumpy cellulite). My fat face.. I have gained 7 kgs over the 4 months. I decided I need to clean myself up, make myself more neat and presentable. In order to motivate myself, I bought a new foundation and nude lipstick from Watsons. - Went for a family gathering with Papa Richard and grandma. I finally dolled myself up - I think I start to be more conscious.
- This morning, I washed and style my hair (finally saw those curls again). I used to bun up my hair like an ah-soh.
- I started to read more pages of "The road less travelled". Today I read about this topic on "Openess to challenges".
- I blogged on a blue Monday, instead of pushing back my blogging.
- Learn how to burn a vcd instead of asking Roland to do for me
- Learn how to cook more dishes
- Learn to operate the Selphy 510 and print those photos myself
- Learn how to bluetooth my files from laptop to phones and phones to laptops
Things that I should look into doing for the next few weeks:
- Finish "The road less travelled" and started on another book.
- Find out pre-natal exercises
- Sign up medical screening for my family
- Control my eating habits
- Save more money
- Blog more
- Do more housework
- Learn a few more recipes
My motherly instincts - making food for myself. See photos above.
By the way, the Udon soup and Tomato minced meat bean curd I made yesterday was a total failure (too ashamed to take any photos). But my Roland still finished it.
Lesson learnt: NO PORK next time, it makes the dish smell of pork.
