This is how Aeon pose for me these days. Eyes shut. Sometimes he will complement with a wide cheeky smile showing all 8 teeth.:-D

I tried making Pita sandwich yesterday, did not know that how to cut the pita till Roland enlightened me that it should be cut in halves:

• I cut the Pita in the middle like a hamburger bun (this is ham + tomato + butter lettuce + red wine vinaigrette)
• After I learn to cut it in halves ( soya-sauced pork + butter lettuce + tomato)

Back home

Roland has completed his reservist and me and Aeon shifted back home. Time flies and we had stayed at PoPo's house for close to 3 long weeks without me realizing. Aeon is really happy these 3 weeks. He played and played and 'manipulated' GongGong & PoPo. He learns to cry to get their attention. He enjoyed his daily outings to the market and to fetch BinBin with PoPo.

He learnt to walk on his own, climbed over the low sofa and beds over here.
He also developed rashes, hurt himself and knocked his head many times.
He seldom cries at PoPo's house.
Every morning when he woke up, he would climb off the bed and walked to the living room to find PoPo. If he doesn't see her, he would try her bedroom. If he doesn't find her there, he would give up and come back to me.

He always opened every drawers and cabinet to hunt for unknown things. His findings consists of - rubber bands, poker cards, water colours, slips of papers & sometimes wires etc.,

He had got so used and he couldn't really adjust himself back home. He woke up many times crying last night. Oh yeah, me and Roland had difficulty sleeping.

Now that Aeon can walk on his own, it is towards a new phase of parenthood - chasing after this toddler who likes to touch everything.

Love pink and love Sony

OMG! Saw this sony pink laptop in really sweet pink! Comes with matching case and mouse. I start to love pink again. I wish our company change our laptop to pink casings!

My dear Roland bought me a perfect gift for our 2nd wedding anniversary aka 30th birthday next month. A ten megapixel Sony cybershot camera, I got the red colour. Why they never make pink colour??? It is the perfect gift for me and it has been close to 3 years since I upgrade my last camera.

But it is ok, I'm loving it.

I want to take more photos from now on!

Papa's night out

Papa is 'released' for a night and he rushed all the way to see us. He carried Aeon most of the times because he missed him so much. Both of them are very tired in the photo. See their thick fluffy inherited eye bags (run in the Kie family).

Play time

He really enjoys himself walking. His favorite past time is playing with a deflated green rubber ball. He will throw it and fetch it.

Went Little India

We went Little India last afternoon. Gong Gong and Po Po wanted to go to that Sheng Siong supermarket to shop for grocery. We took the Northeast line. Aeon was really happy as he was blabbering and 'singing' along the way.

Botak for the 3rd time

Aeon had his hair cut @ DaDa on Saturday. We waited for almost 30 mins and Aeon fell asleep while waiting. Hence he had his hair shaved while sleeping:

Yeah, Aeon can officially walk now!

Our Aeon can officially walk now at 1 year, 1 month & 2 weeks old. Too bad PaPa is at reservist now, won't be able to see his development this week.

Hurt again

Cousin bin bin tried open the upper fridge door while i was carrying Aeon in the kitchen. Now he has two bumps on his forehead. Po po feeding him his medicine in the photo.

Soon

He has more confidence now. Will try to take more than 15 steps. Just saw him taking tiny steps adventuring to po po 's bedroom. Soon.

Computer

I also want to be a maple expert like uncle and cousin bin bin. By the way i bumped and hurt my forehead last night.

Sick baby

My sick Aeon with runny nose, photo taken this week. He lost about 1 kg plus. He is about 9kg now. Sigh! His chin is so sharp now.
Omg, this was my fat chubby baby taken 07 July 07 (3 months old). How chubby and blur looking he was then.

Discharged today!

Yeah! Roland is out!

Aeon's latest development.

Aeon has learnt how to climb up and off the sofa and bed this week.
Also, he can 'walk' sideways and u-turn on our bed for quite a long time.
On the floor- he can take more rapid steps to walk.
All of us feel that he can walk on his own anytime.

He still having a cough and has developed rashes after taking the cough syrup.
If Roland manages to be discharge today, we will bring him to see Dr Koey.

Getting better

The drip was removed this morning and Doctor had 'okayed' Roland to try solid foods. However, the Doctor did not mention when he can discharge. But I am glad that he is recovering!

Update

Roland was in pain on Friday late afternoon therefore he asked me to send him to the hospital. We sent him to Tan Tock Seng hospital A & E and after many hours he was warded in the short stay ward for obeservation. I called our insurance agents for advice and was glad that his coverage can cover A & E and hospitalisation stay. Yesterday, he was given a CTC scan and found that his right large intestine was very inflamed and swollen. One of the doctors asked if he had eaten anything or recently been overseas as based on the scan, it looked quite bad. Roland was given bags of sodium chloride and postassium chloride drip as well as regular anti-biotics. He was not allowed to eat or drink anything till this morning.

I brought Aeon to see another GP for his cough. The earlier GP did not prescribe cough medicine for him. He has lost close to 1 kg so far :(

I have not been logging for days now, wonder how am I going to clear my work back tomorrow?

I am feeling ok just feeling worried through out.

Still sick

Both father and son are still sick. Aeon kept sneezing, coughing and with a constant runny nose.

Roland got worse. He fainted yesterday morning. We went back to the doctor for another consultation and was given more medicine. His blood pressure dropped from 120 to 99.

At night, he was in great pain and father in law drove to a 24-hour clinic for advice if we should admit him to hospital. Luckily, the doctor managed to diagnose the reason of his pain - first doctor's medicine was too strong and his body couldn't take it. Finally he was given 2 packets of drips (with medicine) to cure his pain. I wasn't there with him as I was at home looking after sick Aeon. I was having lots of weird bad thoughts while waiting for him at home.

Hope they get well soon.

Both Sick

Both father and son fell sick together. Roland had quite a serious gastric flu cum high fever. Aeon was down with flu which is turning to cough now. He had very colourful and nice scented syrups and he loves every drop of it. Actually he asked for more. So greedy ! There is nothing he dislikes tasting still (oh he also likes to taste lemon slices).

Ride with Cousin

Weekend at PoPo's house. Aeon wanted to ride on the 'car' and BinBin gave him a ride.

13 months today!

Yeah! Aeon is 13 months today.
Achievements this month:

• Able to stand on his own without support
• Able to do that Yoga pose in my earlier posing
• Hooray! He can sleep through the night
  
• Able to blabber some words like Apple, Duck, Book, Ball, Bow, MumMum (our informal term to ask him to ask for food), Milk!
  
• He let off his guard a little as he now let Uncle YiYou, ZhanYang to carry him.
• He knows how to make the sign for "More"

Keep it up, hope that he will be able to walk on his own next month!
