Climb up and down

He likes to climb up and off the sofa. Sometimes he will stand at the corner to see what i am doing in the kitchen. We know it is very dangerous. One of us will watch over him making sure that he is safe.

First favourite cartoon

Not sure if this is considered his first favourite cartoon. I noticed that his eyes were glued to Doraemon and he laughed out loud for one of the scenes.

Saying 'Mum-Mum' to me

Last night, Aeon kept saying 'mum-mum' to me. I ignored him because he had half a bottle of milk earlier and should be quite full (and we placed the bottle next to the bedside table). To my surprise, he walked to the table, grabbed the bottle and handed it to me and said 'mum-mum' again. When I took it over from him, he lied next to me and waited for me to feed him the milk.
So sweet again... :)

Saying HmmHmm just now

Aeon said 'Hmm Hmm' or 'Imm Imm' to Roland just now and to our surprise he pooed! Oh my god! He actually trying to tell us that he shitted!

It really feels so sweet to see him learning, developing, growing up..... :)

Wedding of Kendrick & May

Today is a special day to witness the solemnization of Kendrick & May.
It is at Pasir Ris Park ,WaterCross Cafe. We reached there at 3.40 pm and the solemnization started at 4 pm. It is a windy and lovely place, so pretty and romantic ambiance.

Yeah, it is all done now! What a great masterpiece :) I am very proud of myself (sorry for kept repeating, cannot help it)! While I was pasting the wallpaper, Aeon was sitting on the sofa watch 'Baby Einstein'.He caught me snapping him :)

Gathering with the JJ girls

Met up with LingSim aka Jovian and Julie (so I call them the JJs) yesterday at AMK Hub Fish n Co. They bought me and Aeon a birthday treat. They are my long time poly buddies aka good girlfriends who go through thick and thick with me. I love them! :) I feel so good that day because I don't have a decent girls' outing (exclude Aeon, a toddler boy) for ages. I thought that marriage or mother's life has depleted some part of myself (no more personal time). I thought that it will be so tough to cope with Aeon, however he was really good yesterday! He was just his usual chatty self and did not misbehave.

Painted my wall pink

Yeah! It is done! My proud achievement . I did it all by myself. Took about 5 hours plus to complete for an amateur. It is a narrow corridor so I can only snap from the corner from an angle.

Porridge

I made this porridge for Aeon yesterday using my colleague's suggestion , to cook it in a small bowl so that there is no wastage. It works, just nice in a small bowl. However, Aeon doesn't like it at all, maybe it is because it's too bland. Next time I will put some Marmite /Bovril in it.

Home Improvement projects

This is the corridor towards our kitchen. I pasted masking tape to tape the wall to create a 'brick wall'. The next thing I want to do is the paint the upper wall light pink and decorated with wallpaper flowers. Will update soon.

Chatty Aeon

Our Aeon is getting more and more chatty.

He made quite a good progress from watching "Your Baby can read" and "Signs" recently. He is a very happy baby and he loves music and dancing. When he hears music, he will stand up and dance.
When he is happy he will dance as well.

When I asked to to dance for me, he will smile and dance for me.

Sleeping early yesterday

Aeon was especially tired and he slept from 9 pm plus through the night. With so much sleep, he woke up at 5 am today.

He crawled over the bed, talked to me, talked to PaPa, laughed... I got to pull him back next to me.... Decided to ignore him and he fell back to sleep shortly.

Birthday Celebration

We went for a couple spa package at Bukit Batok , The Ultimate. The place is quite scenic. However I thought the place could be better because the Marketing lady whom sold me the trial package told me how nice the place was.

The process:

• Body scrub
  
• Bath to remove the scrub
• Body Massage with massage oil
• Jacuzzi milk bath

After our spa, we went to watch a silly movie "Superhero movie", well it's supposed to be a relaxing day , doing stupid things, watch stupid show to unwind. :) Times to loosen up. (see our photos , posing stupidly in the taxi)

Then we went to Thai Express at Plaza Singapura. The restaurant manager provided such great service, he delighted us in many ways and we decided to sign up for a membership discount card. This makes Thai Express one of our favourite eating out places in future.

I received 2 lovely birthday cards from Roland and Aeon, the card is so sweet. It is a wonderful birthday.

Third swim

Aeon went for his third swim today. We were at yehyeh place. He was cranky at first but managed to get over his fear after a while. I forgot to bring his float.

Surprise !

Roland just walked into our bedroom singing me a birthday song! Aeon is now super active due to the mouthfuls of sweet mango cake! Happy 30 to me and happy 2nd wedding anniversary to us!

Turning 30 in 2 days time

Ah ha! I am turning big 30 in 2 days time.

Also my second wedding anniversary.

 

Face it! From then on, I am a 30-something lady!

 

I am cool.

I want to be cooler.

Need to set some resolutions asap.

 

Number 1 in my list is still - lose weight.

 

When I achieved this one, I will set no. 2 and 3 and so on.

I cannot be greedy to set so many since it is really difficult to accomplish the first one.

 

I am rather pleased of myself, I have :

• drove on my own now
• stayed on my own during this business trip
• bumped a dent on my father in law's car
• being a mother of a 13 months old Aeon
• learning to be abit more tolerant
• more appreciative towards life now

 

Looking forward home sweet home

Hooray! I will be back to Singapore tomorrow.

This is my first visit to China, Shanghai.
Overall, it is a really safe place (staying in DaNing area).
Traffic is bad - dangerous, high speed driving. Who looks at the traffic lights anyway? Impulse turning, stopping.
Roads are bad - uneven. It's like sitting on a roller coaster. Was often woke up in my nap during the car trips.
Food- cheap and nice restaurant dining. Have Shanghainese food, dim sum, pasta, Japanese sukiyaki (omg, I took sukiyaki !)
Customer Service- Sucks here. The sales assistants think that they are the customers here! So proud and smile less.

It is a good exposure (free!)

I missed my family. This is the first time I am separated from Aeon. Wonder if he still remembers me ?

Waiting for my flight

My purchase at terminal 3 duty free. Bought a Dior perfume and compact cosmetic set! Now at the waiting lounge for my flight whai departs 1010. It is mother's day today! My second mother's day with Aeon. We celebrated yesterday :-) . This is my very first business trip in this company.

Little Likaelle

Meet Aeon's future girlfriend to be, Likaelle. I find that they share a fair bit of resemblance. Whenever I see Likaelle, she will remind me of Aeon. From some angle or some expression will make me think of my Aeon.

Likaelle went to visit us the day before, so happy to see her , especially I can 'tell' that she is happy to see me too.

She was carried by so many mummies on that day.

So proud of myself

My personal development milestone.

I can actually drive from home to office today (estimated 24km journey).

I am getting braver , heeheeheeheee......

I know it sounds so ordinary, anyone can drive ah.

But, I just managed to overcome some fear as I get older.

I am turning my big 30 in 7 days times, having mid-life crisis, but this helps abit. :)

Dinner at Ma Maison

I think it was the first time I brought Aeon to Bugis Junction shopping. Now Aeon enjoyed sitting in his stroller so I asked Roland to bring him along. I always thought how inconvenient it will be for me to bring Aeon out since he can be fussy at most times. However he was behaving great yesterday and I could do my own things (just had to push him around) but it is ok.

We had a great family time. We also enjoyed our dinner at level 2, Ma Maison. It is a French-Japanese restaurant and I was surprised to find it crowded as early as 6.30 pm. The restaurant is family-oriented and they have this family promotion - just show up with a -father + mother + baby and at no extra charge, Papa gets a free Asahi Beer, Bebe gets to choose a free toy and Mama gets to enjoy a free scoop of ice-cream!

The food is yummy too! We ordered a hamburger and a steak.
