Bought a rat trap last night, put one in the kitchen and one in the back yard.
Sprinkled cheese, cookies etc., on it.
The one in the kitchen is intact.
The one in the back yard - food is gone.
We saw a stupid lizard there struggling.
The clever rat escaped unharmed. Has it used the lizard as a stepping stone?
Roland is trying to save the lizard now. :)

Rat trap or cage no use. I got an idiot neighbor who brought home an old cupboard and place it near our front door. Then as our main door wasn't close, when they opened the old cupboard, a rat ran into my place. Its was so disgusting the noise it made and nibble here and there. Luckily we all sleep upstairs. We put rat poison everywhere downstairs. And eventually after 2-3 days, it is finally dead. We place cage with food inside. The rat ate the food and the cage didn't manage to trap it inside. I hate rats since then. No mercy is given. ha
